Chess regulations club championship SC Zwijnaarde 2009 – 2015
The game is played according to the latest FIDE regulations. The Tournament Leader or his replacement will be present on every regular match day. Viewers are always silent.
The club championship starts in mid-September. Every effort will be made to conclude the club championship at the end of June.
The regular playing day is Thursday and we play from 8:00 PM. Of course, the game can be played on another day after mutual agreement. It is always possible to play a game in advance. Please notify the Tournament Director.
Before the game starts, both parties check the placement of the pieces.
Pace of play: Maximum one and a half hours per player.
The players are divided into one series.
Except for beginners, it is mandatory to play with a clock.
It is strongly recommended that you take notes.

Postponing games:
If you cannot play on the scheduled date, you must notify your opponent (preferably one day in advance, preferably by email) and set a new playing date by mutual agreement. The person requesting a postponement must also inform the tournament leader of the postponement, preferably by email

If White is not present on time and has not been notified, the tournament leader will start his clock. If White is present and Black is not, White makes one move and the tournament leader starts Black's clock. If the absent player has not reported after one hour, a forfeit will be decided.
The result is noted by the winner and checked by the loser on a specially developed document. On behalf of the entire board.
